FORS is an accreditation scheme that aims to improve fleet activity throughout the UK and beyond. The standard is voluntary and open to any company operating a fleet including vans, lorries, mini-buses and coaches.

Ketra Logistics, which is part of Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, has held a FORS Bronze accreditation since March 2015. The company has now further strengthened its operational compliance to a FORS Silver standard. This requires operators to improve their overall fleet safety and environmental impact and efficiency.

With this recent achievement, Ketra Logistics has become one of only 50 general hauliers in the UK and the first Palletways member in London to gain Silver accreditation.

Martyn Young, managing director at Ketra Logistics, said: “The FORS Silver accreditation is a tremendous accolade for Ketra and is a result of our commitment to operate in a safe and sustainable manner. This is a great achievement for the business and this accreditation will strengthen our position as the premier provider in the distribution of palletised freight in South East London and North Kent.”

Since its creation in 1979, Ketra Logistics has been providing companies in South East London and North Kent with a range of distribution services and solutions.

It boasts a wide range of vehicles and its experienced team handles over 200,000 pallets a year
