A double diary clash with the EDX 2016 e-retail show, this was a date not to be missed as IOC fellows met to talk final mile, next generation workforce and consolidation solutions to final mile. TFL’s LoCity conference is also taking place this month, May 25th and is a must attend event. Some breaking news is Carl Lomas had been elected chair for the van sector group. All the more focus on green final mile, electric solutions and London.

SMMT figures reported an 18% increase in light van sales for 2015. IOC fellows had vehicles in the halls.

Sam Clarke Gnewt was in the spot light, centre stage of the Renault stand, showcasing the very latest electric light van. LDV launched a 250 mile range electric mid size van.

APC took centre stage of the LDV stand with a full livery panel van adorned with the smartest APC number plate in the show. New RHA boss Richard Burnett commented, “The increase in online sales has resulted in an increase of van sales which is clearly reflected in the number of van manufacturers at this years CV show.”
