Pacplan® Technik’s experienced, professional workflow planners combine modular components and bespoke features to create systems that precisely meet the requirements of each location. A full system will typically include pack benches and materials storage, conveyor systems and bespoke materials handling equipment, and can be augmented with additional products such as anti-fatigue matting and void-fill systems.
Pacplan® Technik design is based on five key pillars: to optimise use of available space whilst maintaining efficient workflow; to place all packaging materials where they are always within arm’s reach and can be quickly replenished; to locate all packaging tools such as tape dispensers, cutters and scales where they are immediately serviceable yet not in the way; to minimise necessary operator body movement; to provide connections to warehouse management and order processing systems.
Applied to pack system design, these guiding principles significantly increase consignment throughput, minimise downtime and create a more ergonomic and efficient working environment. Unconstrained by a strict modular design, planners are free to create innovative design solutions.
All Pacplan® Technik components are British-made to high standards. Fully-welded frames are constructed from sturdy steel section and powder coated for durability.
Powder coating can be matched to any RAL colour to coordinate with corporate identities or create colour-defined production zones. A wide selection of worktop thicknesses and finishes is also available.
