Software application and engineering company Red Ledge has chosen the March 16-17 IntraLogistex show (stand 97) to publicly launch the latest version of its ‘Red Ledge CORE™’ fast-build warehouse management system development tool, which speeds the development of WMS and other logical, event-driven systems using a set of fast-build, standard libraries – saving time and money, say Red Ledge. Red Ledge CORE can be purchased standalone or licensed by users to make their own additions to an installed ‘Red Ledge WMS’ system.

CORE can also be used to fast-build manufacturing and asset management systems.

All Red Ledge systems can be integrated (WMS and manufacturing, for example). Going forward, Red Ledge’s own ‘Red Ledge WMS’, ‘Red Ledge Manufacturer’ and ‘Red Ledge AMS’ systems will be developed using the new CORE, which is now designed around the system’s database as well as its application layers, integrating database technology and processes as standard say Red Ledge.

Commenting on the new generation of Red Ledge WMS CORE technology, managing director Andy O’Donnell says: “This is a quantum leap in the power and speed of WMS development. It offers a new, faster, considerably more cost-efficient way to customise supply chain systems for competitive edge. We expect it to transform the way companies acquire and deploy their storage, logistics and manufacturing systems.”

Headquartered in West Yorkshire, UK, Red Ledge was founded in 1996 and has over 150 clients worldwide. The company is a globally recognised specialist in RFID, barcode, voice and sensor technologies and uses its unique blend of application software and engineering skills to improve business processes in commerce, industry and government.
