Automatic strapping systems bring measureable benefits for contract packing and order fulfilment in terms of higher productivity and reduced staffing levels.

TRS700-DETAIL-IMAGECapable of full integration within a packing line, an Optimax® automatic system can be programmed to apply single, dual and multiple strap configurations to uniform or random-sized cartons at speeds of up to 65 strap cycles per minute.

Optimax automatic arch sealers are available in a wide range of arch sizes and with roller- or belt-driven tables that seamlessly integrate with powered and gravity conveyor systems.

Built to the characteristically high standards that have made Optimax a trusted brand, they also include key Optimax features such as auto strap feed and loop eject, fast coil change and reliable, low-maintenance strapping heads that minimise downtime.

An air powered pre-compression bar is also fitted to systems used for applications such as the paper and corrugated industry, where excess air is forced out of the stack prior to strapping so that no subsequent compression of the bundle can create slippage.

For less automated environments, Optimax static and roller table arch strappers are also available in a wide range of arch sizes and control options. These too are designed and built to the same exacting standards as all Optimax strapping systems, and include auto strap feed and loop eject.

The Optimax® range of premium quality packaging machinery is available through Macfarlane Packaging.
