The BP2015 show at Harrogate Yorkshire, was the venue for Nexen to showcases it’s new innovative “X” Range electric models prior to launch. Nexen’s UK National Sales Manager, Iain Wilson said ‘with a record breaking attendance and visitors not only from the UK but also overseas from countries Canada, Morocco, Greece, Holland and Asia, we saw this as an excellent opportunity to test public reception to Nexen’s UK manufactured electric counter balance truck.’
The FBXT18 three wheel electric was centre stage of Nexen’s stand where also diesel “X” range and “Libero” Models were exhibited. The innovative design proved a strong focal point resulting in significant forward orders being received from this important end user sector.
The new electric machines offer capacities from 1600kg to 2000kg, with three and four wheel models offering both short and long wheelbases. In line with all “X” range products, featuring Nexen’s unique fully floating ergonomic driver cell, hydrostatic or EPS steering options, full AC control, heavy duty battery 625ah to 780 ah, and optional finger tip controls, these trucks are suitable for a large variety of applications. *British Manufacture refers to our x-range models.
