Global leader in barrier protection, A-SAFE has launched the iFlex range, taking barrier safety in the industrial workplace to new levels of performance and protection.

The new range adds a host of innovations to what was already a world-leading range of products, protecting the four ‘Ps’ of business: people, property, profits and performance.

Posts are now 400% stronger and rails 60% stronger, allowing rail lengths to be increased by 50%, thus reducing the number of posts needed and minimising the amount of floor drilling. In turn, this creates a faster, smoother installation process.

A multi-directional capability means barriers are a better, more efficient fit around a facility’s layout. A joint-less exterior with hygienic seals ensures dirt, dust and debris cannot collect inside the barriers – a potential revolution for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

An improved modularity means rails and posts can be replaced without needing to uproot a whole barrier run, creating huge efficiency savings on manpower and downtime. Other additions such as deflective spinning collars, countersunk fixings and an improved cylindrical aesthetic contribute towards improvements on what was already a world leading system.

The same principles that set new standards in barrier protection a decade ago, remain in place today. It’s a protection process based around three functions: flex, absorb, reform. When workplace vehicles impact an A-SAFE barrier, the barrier flexes (unlike, say, steel), absorbs the impact forces and reforms to its original shape.

Protecting the people and property inside a business has never been so important and, with A-SAFE’s iFlex range their safety has never been so assured. Couple this with the improved, streamlined performance that A-SAFE barriers bring, and the better than ever return on investment, and companies can now combine their four ‘Ps’ into one perfect, preventative, protective package.
