Automatic case tapers are an effective way of streamlining the despatch process, as they simultaneously apply pressure-sensitive tape to the top and bottom seams of packed cartons and are capable of sealing up to 1,200 cartons per hour. Case tapers are manufactured in one of two formats – uniform and random case size. Uniform case tapers offer high-productivity where cartons packed are of uniform dimensions, and the machine doesn’t have to adjust for each carton. Random case tapers are more versatile as they will automatically adjust the height of the upper taping head and side guides to accommodate any carton configuration.
