Bob Hayward, Managing Director of Be More Effective, said, “The LED lighting industry has a challenge to understand the market from the customers perspective. We have developed a short survey to gain customer insight with the aim of using this knowledge to influence the future development of LED lighting.”

The survey aims to understand the viewpoint of a wide range of customers to inform and guide how LEDs advance in the years to come. Customers across the supply chain, including anyone with a passion for LED developments, can help. Facility owners or managers, service and maintenance customers, large and small contractors, resellers and designers are all being asked to contribute their thoughts to this national survey.

Bob continued, “The LED marketplace has changed rapidly over recent times, but this has often been driven by developments in the technology. We now want to understand customers’ future needs and desires. What features are they looking for? How are people, throughout the supply chain, wanting to use LEDs? What difficulties do they have now, and above all what is most important to them as they seek to utilise LEDs in the future?”

The survey can be found at www.research.net/s/LEDVOC5DDFM

Bob concluded, “There are many ways in which LED technology could progress and we believe that the direction is best determined by customers.”
