Enerco has been working with a house-hold frozen food brand based in the North-East, trialling the innovative Delta Speed-Frigo door at the company’s impressive freezer unit.
Enerco Doors are market leaders, providing high quality, durable industrial doors and loading bay equipment, offering nationwide service, repair and maintenance. When asked to work with one of the nation’s favourite frozen fast food suppliers, Enerco jumped at the chance. The existing doors, installed by another UK market leader and one of the favoured products on the market, were underperforming due to their complicated design, which was proving expensive and causing excessive downtime.
Enerco’s innovative Frigo door was put to the test and exceeded the expectations of the Facilities Manager, who confirmed: “I have experience of using a variety of freezer doors but chose Enerco to provide the door for the latest opening and following the successful installation will be replacing other doors on site with the Delta Speed-Frigo door. Enerco’s simplistic approach to high speed door design has truly set the new bench mark”.
The Delta Speed Frigo competes on quality but offers real value for money, as it is substantially lower in cost compared to its rivals. Available in sizes up to 4.0m wide x 5.0 high, it is the opening and closing speed of up to 1500mm per second of the Frigo door which is key; minimising energy loss and ensuring temperatures of the store area are maintained.
However, it is the unique design of the curtain, allowing the door to retain constant sub-zero temperatures, which really sets the Delta Speed-Frigo apart from the competition. It boasts a twin skinned curtain and heater to ensure there is no frost build up on the door, eliminating any hazardous ice around the opening. Trace heating is also fitted to the frame of the door to ensure its continual smooth running and that there is no risk of ice formation between the frame and the mounting structure.
The success of the Enerco trial with one of the UK’s most well-known frozen food brands is evidence of the Frigo’s main selling points: the price of the Frigo greatly reduces capital expenditure and its reliability reduces maintenance costs and minimises down-time.
