Permaban, manufacturer of armoured joints for warehouse floors, is displaying a new warehouse flooring innovation at the Evolving Concrete show in London, 6-7 May.

Permaban-Signature-AR

Permaban Signature AR is a joint arris repair system, which replaces damaged saw-cut joints, or sections of the warehouse floor where a straight armoured joint and the surrounding concrete have become damaged.

Signature AR provides a permanent, professional repair – saving warehouse owners and operators the considerable cost and disruption of future floor repairs.

The product is based on Permaban’s highly successful Signature armoured joint, used in new warehouse and industrial floors worldwide. With its distinctive half-hexagonal design, materials handling vehicles can pass smoothly across a Signature joint in the floor, causing no impact and no damage – even when vehicles cross the joint at 90?. This saves significant repair costs to both the floor and vehicles, for the lifetime of the building.

The Signature AR system incorporates a reduced-height length of Signature, along with screed, bonding agent and surface finishes. The joint repair is undertaken by approved installers, to ensure correct installation and a long-lasting result.

Also on display at the show will be a pre-production model of Permaban Signature manufactured from glass reinforced nylon (GRN) – the first time an armoured joint has been produced in a material other than metal. This robust composite makes the joint lighter and easier to handle on site, and more economical to ship. It is also non-conductile, stable in all temperatures, and can be recycled at the end of its life. The Permaban Signature AR joint is also made from the same material.

Evolving Concrete is taking place at the Business Design Centre in London from 6-7 May 2015. Permaban is exhibiting under its parent brand name of RCR Flooring Products on stand E55.
