Structure-flex Limited, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of flexible fabric products, has completed the move of its successful manufacturing business to the location of the former crab factory in Cromer, North Norfolk.

The move marks the start of company’s 45th anniversary year and is the third location for the business that won a Queen’s Award for International Enterprise last year for increasing its export sales by more than 250pc over the previous three years.

Managing Director, Paul Reeve, said: “This promises to be another exciting year for Structure-flex and the move comes at the perfect time to support our continued growth internationally. We remain dedicated to developing excellent products for a global market and these new facilities re-inforce our commitment in that.

“Structure-flex has a history of constant investment in innovative technology and the new manufacturing facilities will allow further development in this area to help keep the business at the forefront of a very demanding market.”

The new facilities have undergone an extensive refurbishment programme to offer a greatly enhanced working environment for Structure-flex’s 65 strong workforce which relocates from the former switchgear factory at Melton Constable.

Originally based at Holt, with satellites at Cromer and Aylsham, the company has a long-established reputation in the manufacture and supply of a portfolio of products made from flexible fabrics and provides a complete design, consultation and manufacturing service,

Exploitation of wide format digital printing techniques has been crucial to Structure-flex’s growth with its Graphic Division recently investing £450,000 in the latest technology, building on significant previous investment, to take the company into a leading position in the design and supply of trailer curtainsiders and vehicle graphics.

Additionally, Structure-flex design, print and manufacture a broad range of signage and banner products including wide format banners, shop front signage, POS display graphics, exhibition display systems, flags and poster displays.
