As the UK’s largest manufacturer of plastic containers and reusable transit packaging (RTP), Schoeller Allibert will be taking the RTP message to the new IntraLogisteX show at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, to be held from 25-26 March. The company will be showing a range of its products which have been designed to meet the needs of the logistics industry, offering major cost, handling and environmental efficiencies.

A pioneer in the development and application of RTP, Schoeller Allibert has a team of designers that have been responsible for many significant innovations in the industry and can boast a long list of industry ‘firsts’ in re-usable packaging. The company will be using IntraLogisteX to showcase a number of products that offer cost-effective and innovative logistics and supply-chain solutions.

Among the products on display will be the Magnum Optimum FLC (folding large container), which has the strength needed to match the requirements of any supply chain whilst offering ease of access for the end user. It is stackable, easily folded for return transport and with its low weight and cleanliness it suits many applications along the supply chain. Security in transit is a major concern for many logistics providers and Schoeller Allibert’s secure solution will be demonstrated by the Kaiman ALC (attached lid container) range which features an integral lid and tamper-evident security to help deter theft of high risk or high value goods.

Also on display will be a range of RTP solutions for automated handling systems. This includes the company’s leading LWB, Eureka, K-Line and Maxinest Plus ranges, all designed to work seamlessly with the many different handling systems that feature in the supply chain, from original supplier to warehouses and distribution centres through to retailers.

Commenting on the opportunity that IntraLogisteX represents, Danilo Oliynik, Managing Director UK & Eire, says: “The 2014 Christmas trading period illustrated the major changes that are taking place in the logistics industry and the demands that are being put on it. The rapid rise of e-commerce is putting pressure on logistics providers to focus on innovation and efficiency in order to meet those challenges. IntraLogisteX offers us an excellent opportunity to showcase our expertise to key players in the market and demonstrate the contribution our RTP products can make to supply-chain efficiency.

“As well as exhibiting ranges of proven RTP products, we will also have experts on hand to discuss how we can tailor solutions to specific applications. We are proud to have been at the forefront of advances in RTP which have helped businesses in many different industries achieve significant improvements in materials handling and distribution efficiencies.”

Schoeller Allibert can be found on stand 90 which faces the seating area in the conference space.
