Dexion were asked to make the most of the space in their latest warehouse. After initially meeting the Phoenix team & examining their current operations, it became apparent to the Dexion Project team that there were several issues that would need to be addressed in order to maximise the storage capacity of the warehouse. The warehouse was constructed upon an exisiting car park, therefore the floor slab deviated up to 60mm within a relatively small distance; this combined with the pitch of the roof meant fluctuating roof heights of between 7 & 11 metres.
A Dexion P90 Pallet Racking, three tier archive storage system, with integral floors was therefore proposed which would maximise storage. Through regular site meetings a programme was devised so that disruption to Phoenix Data Management Ltd was kept to a minimum.
