Gebhardt-ECS Ltd has appointed Stephen Baker, one of the UK’s most experienced specialists in the automated materials handling industry, as sales director.
A key responsibility for Mr Baker is the promotion of the full range of Gebhardt-ECS equipment, including shuttles, mini-loads, ASRS cranes and conveyors, in the UK and Irish Republic. His 24 years’ experience includes implementation of many fully automated intralogistics systems in the UK and overseas, while working for SSI Schaefer, Dematic, and Siemens Logistics and Assembly Systems.
Roles have spanned system planning and consulting, strategic solution and product development, and sales and sales management. He has a BSc Honours degree in mechanical engineering from Brunel University.
