On 1 November 2014 TVH, global player in the field of material handling, has acquired the main activity of IPS. This concerns the distribution in France of parts and batteries for aerial work platforms. The parts activity for France and the French Overseas Departments and Territories were immediately integrated within the activities of TVH France SASU. With this acquisition TVH reinforces its activity on the aerial work platform parts market.

IPS France was founded in 2006 inAbzac, Bordeaux and is a subsidiary of IAPS Group. This UK-based group is active in the distribution of parts for and the maintenance of aerial work platforms. Now that TVH takes over the parts distribution of IPS, IPS France will continue its other activity, the distribution of aerial work platforms, under a different name.
Smooth integration
To make the transition for existing IPS-customers go as smoothly as possible, TVH integrated all IPS-references and corresponding cross-references into its own system. In addition the company also took over the history of the orders and the already existing offers. IPS’ communication channels such as mail, phone, fax and website forward directly to TVH’s sales department.
Benefits for both parties
The acquisition of IPS allows TVH to further expand its broad range of aerial work platforms parts and strengthen its position on the French market.
The former IPS-customers can now contact TVH’s specialized sales team at the main head office in Waregem. Furthermore they now also have access to the MyTotalSource webshop.
