“We are delighted with our new course” says Tim Smith, Training Manager at Rack Training Ltd. “It has been the culmination of months of hard work and determination, but we now have an E-Learning course that will provide businesses with a cost effective way to train their entire workforce with a consistent message regarding warehouse safety. Not only that but we also have a whole host of additional courses that we intend to launch in the new year.”

E-Learning or “online” courses have a huge number of benefits over a standard classroom setting. The first of these benefits is allowing users to complete the required modules at a pace that suits them without the pressure or fear of failure. Candidates simply set their own pace and complete quiz style tests which can be retaken if a minimum target isn’t reached, giving the user a relaxing yet rewarding experience.

Another positive aspect of Rack Trainings E-Learning courses is that all staff are subject to a consistent and uniform message regarding the same subject, each member of the team will take the same path to completion with the highest quality content possible, giving you a highly competent team with the same proficient knowledge across the board.

Rack Training have designed the E-Learning course so it’s remarkably easy to use, giving you the upmost of control in regards to monitoring your staff’s completion and success levels. This specially built standalone module gives you a personalised login zone from where you can buy training credits which can then be distributed throughout your workforce to purchase courses. Each time a user completes a course they will receive a completion certificate in the chosen field, this is given as a printable PDF which can be archived and saved for future reference.

The first course focuses on “Pallet Racking Safety Awareness” which is aimed at those new to warehouse environments and pallet racking in general. The course explores general legislation, mechanical handling equipment, pallet racking systems and the do’s and don’ts around pallet racking. With new courses already being built ready for the new year, Rack Training is hoping to develop all of their industry leading classroom based courses into an E-Learning equivalent.
