AGR 5 was developed in response to feedback from customers, business partners and resellers looking for easier supply chain planning when using Microsoft Dynamics. AGR’s tight integration with Microsoft ERP systems vastly accelerates and simplifies the implementation process, minimises training times and drives speedier, widespread user acceptance. The new software brings a comprehensive range of demand forecasting, replenishment, order planning, inventory optimisation, sales and operations planning plus sales promotion management capabilities to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and NAV 2013 products.

Haukar Hannesson, Managing Director of AGR commented, “The launch of AGR 5 is by far our most important product launch to date, it highlights our successful working partnership with Microsoft and marks a significant step forward in our strategy to be at the very heart of the Microsoft eco-system. By deploying AGR 5, we are confident business partners and customers will more easily manage the growing complexity of their supply chain environment whilst delivering a series of tangible business and operational benefits.”

Using the latest web programming technology, AGR has designed a highly responsive, easy to use and quick to refresh interface that greatly promotes collaborative working. It provides all parts of the supply chain, from manufacturers to external suppliers, with fast and easy access to critical stock and inventory data, either at their desk or on the move using a variety of Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) devices.

The high performance of AGR 5 means large amounts of complex data can be handled which overcomes the bottlenecks commonly found in the order creation and forecasting process. Organisations are now able to set up and manage significantly higher numbers of Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) or product codes and produce faster forecast calculations to drive efficiencies and release time savings to the business.

AGR 5 is available immediately to new and existing customers and will be showcased on booth 49 at Microsoft Convergence 2014,the annual premier event that brings the Microsoft business community together, between 4th-6th November in Barcelona, Spain.

AGR’s inventory management system provides organisations with real-time stock data, helping them to better manage stock levels to support critical supply chains to customers. Using AGR’s software solution integrated with ERP systems, companies can manage fluctuating stock levels across global business operations on a daily basis to meet customer demands, including monitoring expiry dates, firm order data, previous history and future forecasts. Using AGR’s system increases staff productivity, sales confidence and improves stock management.
