From now, the Tergo URS turret truck is augmenting the Atlet product family from UniCarriers. With this model range, UniCarriers Group offers bespoke industrial trucks for warehouse logistics. The new forklift has the smallest turning circle in its class and can operate easily and safely in warehouses with particularly narrow aisles. Moreover, it has an ergonomically optimised chassis. Individually adjustable seat height, back rest and positioning of controls provide a working environment that guarantees maximum user comfort.

Greater efficiency in the smallest space: the new Tergo URS from the Atlet product family by UniCarriers has been designed for minimum transfer aisle widths of 3,700 mm and an operational stacking aisle of only 1,650 mm. The man-down truck is suited to provide maximum use of the warehouse space and still retains versatile free-range characteristics. The forks, which can be turned through 180 degrees, allow convenient placement of the goods on both sides of the aisle. In the narrow aisles, the Tergo URS is steered by means of guide rails or inductive guidance. This allows the driver to concentrate fully on the stacking process. Outside of the aisles, it can be operated as a free-range truck. The Tergo URS is therefore able to satisfy all the requirements of narrow aisle stacking as well as free-range transportation.

UniCarriers Tergo URS Image 2The entry and removal of products and pallets is possible up to a height of 10.35 metres. Here, the forklift is able to safely and quickly transport loads of up to 1.5 tonnes at a maximum speed of 14 km/h. With the ability to lift the forks even whilst moving, cycle times are reduced by around 17 percent compared with conventional operation. The improved reach speed also ensures optimised workflows, surpassing the performance of previous models by up to 50 percent.

The chassis has been designed in accordance with ergonomic considerations and offers the driver maximum user friendliness and comfort. With a personal PIN code, individual driver settings are automatically recalled. Additionally, the driver can position the seat height, seat angle, back rest and armrest to fully provide a custom-built driver set up. For ergonomic posture in all work stages, the back rest can be inclined backwards by up to 18 degrees. This ensures that the work is gentle on the neck even in the case of storage entry or removal at a great height. As with all models from the Atlet range by UniCarriers, the Tergo URS also features the tried and tested concept of common parts, which ensures low maintenance costs and increases the availability of the forklift.
