Cesab Material Handling UK has appointed John McCranor as its new general manager, replacing Terry Stephens who is retiring after spending four years developing the UK network.
Now responsible for growing the Cesab brand in the UK, John brings extensive material handling experience, with previous roles in other companies including regional management, overseeing sales activity, development and training in the North East. Prior to that John was a fleet sales manager for the North of England, where he successfully grew the number of multiple site and multiple users across the region.
John’s arrival comes after Cesab UK sold a record volume of forklift units to April 2014 through its 20 dealer network.

Cesab has been attracting dealerships from around the UK and has a fantastic offering for customers looking for local, dedicated support and a product range manufactured to the highest quality standards.
“My ambition now is to strengthen and steadily grow our network and ensure that we maximise our opportunities with the 80% market coverage we already have. I believe I will be able to bring great value and support and I am looking forward to working with the Cesab network, helping dealers grow their sales and continue the success we’ve been experiencing to date.”
