The Total Supply Chain Summit, held recently at Heythrop Park Resort Oxfordshire, was once again hailed as a resounding success by all who attended. The event is designed to help professionals involved in the supply chain purchasing process increase their knowledge of why, how and where to invest.

forum_logoThe Total Supply Chain Summit’s proven appointment-based format of exclusively targeting only the most qualified, top-producing delegates and bringing them together with suppliers who are pertinent to their needs is by far the best way forward for creating new business contacts.

Complimentary delegate attendance was limited to just 65 Supply Chain Directors and Managers, who spent a day and a half discussing ideas, projects, issues and new requirements with service providers and fellow professionals. As well as the pre arranged meetings and ample networking opportunities, the Total Supply Chain Summit also gave delegates the chance to attend free workshops and seminars hosted by industry specialists throughout the course of the event.

This year’s event commenced with a presentation hosted by Richard House from Futurmaster Ltd who discussed “Managing the Unmanageable. Demand Planning in Impossibly Difficult Situations”, followed by a seminar hosted by Peter Huggins from CILT Knowledge Centre who talked about “Market Intelligence & Information Management”. Finally, Sophie Mason from Driver Hire Nationwide presented a seminar on “Licence Checking: Are your drivers’ licenses valid, and why does this matter to you?”.

Delegates included Supply Chain Professionals from: Associated Independent Stores, Autoglass & Laddaw, Bernard Matthews, Community Foods Ltd, Co-Operative Food, Dixons Retail Plc, Dunelm, EDF Energy, Fortnum & Mason, Halfords, Henderson Group, Manchester Airport Group, Morrisons Supermarkets, Nestle Waters UK, Tesco Distribution, Travis Perkins, Virgin Media plus many more…
