Changes at the top for Pall-Ex

Palletised freight network Pall-Ex is refocusing its operations, with the appointment of a new managing director who is to be tasked with strengthening and developing operations in the UK.

Cris Stephenson will take up the role as UK managing director, moving from his previous position as assistant managing director.

The UK board of directors will now be chaired by Cris and will be dedicated to focusing the concentration of the business on invigorating and advancing operations in the UK

Cris has worked in the logistics industry for 30 years. Starting out as a driver, he quickly worked his way up to the role of depot manager before taking on positions as a divisional manager and director. Joining Pall-Ex in 2011, Cris has been instrumental in the company’s growth strategy, using his extensive leadership, sales and business development experience to ensure Pall-Ex reaches its goals and progresses towards its vision of becoming an international freight distribution network.

His predecessor, Adrian Russell, will take up a new position as group managing director. Taking a step back from the day to day running of the business, Adrian will focus on ensuring smooth and efficient interconnections between the Pall-Ex Group’s growing international network.
