Linde Material Handling (MH) has announced that it will be presenting the World of Material Handling live and interactive at the Mainz Trade Fair Park in May. Linde will be giving several presentations over the duration of the exhibition and will be putting on a range of multimedia shows as well as special events and expert lectures. Visitors will also be invited to test drive a range of Linde trucks on a special course and the manufacturer will be launching a wide range of new products.

One new product which will be launched at the event is the Linde Safety Pilot, a unique assistance system for trucks that is not available anywhere else in the world. The system indicates the load and resulting maximum lift height to the driver and ensures that the truck stays within its limits, greatly reducing driver operating errors , which is the most common cause of accidents.

The new generation Linde E12 to E20 EVO electric forklift trucks, which boast increased energy efficiency, individually adjustable driving dynamics and improved comfort and safety, will also be seen in action for the first time at the World of Material Handling.

Two trailer train solutions, Linde Logistic Train and Linde Factory Train, both of which have been designed with maximum flexibility and user comfort in mind, will also be launched at the exhibition, as well as a new electric forklift truck series with a load capacity of 6 to 8 tonnes and pallet trucks with a load capacity of 1.6 to 2 tonnes and a lithium-ion battery.

Other topics that will be covered at the event include truck networking via computers and the internet for fleet optimisation (Connected Solutions), as well as demonstrations of the sustainability of the various products and production processes at Linde MH.
