Midlands-based distribution specialists LTS have started 2014 on a high – the company is set to deliver an astonishing 30% growth over the past twelve months, has already increased driver numbers by almost a third and is currently expanding its warehousing and storage capabilities to keep pace with customer demand.
So what’s driving this level of success at LTS? Managing Director Les Nunn claims it is the service-based philosophy which continues to differentiate this fast-growing business, with the focus on delivering exactly what each individual customer requires – as and when they need it.
“We’re seeing significant growth across the board, but particularly in very specific sectors including same day, high security and two man deliveries,” stated Les. “The industry is changing, and our customers are increasingly requiring a much more bespoke service. We’ve built flexibility into our business model, allowing us to tailor our provision to meet individual requirements.”
LTS also partners with like-minded companies to provide a comprehensive service for its customers, making sure the company is able to provide a solution for everything – even the more unusual requirements. “We work as subcontractors for a number of the country’s leading hauliers, but our key growth area is our increasing portfolio of customers – many of whom came to us for a single job and have continued to work with us,” said Les.
Plans in place for 2014 include further expansion of the company’s warehousing facilities and investment in the transport fleet, linked to increasing demand right across the industrial and commercial base served by LTS, optimising growth forecasts for industry in the West Midlands.
