AutoLogic Systems are excited to announce that the developers of their Emulate3D software have won a Queen’s Award for innovation – the UK’s highest accolade for business success.

Demo3D-robots-2The award for Innovation is in recognition of the work done in developing the Emulate3D Controls Testing (ECT) range. Implementing and testing industrial automation system controls can now be carried out off line, making acceptance tests straightforward and resulting in more robust controls, delivered on time, and within budget.

Graham Carter, MD of AutoLogic Systems, the distributor for Emulate3D in the UK and Ireland says: “This is a fantastic endorsement of the technology and the people behind it.

“Traditional on-site acceptance testing was always a difficult time, as the controls are the final part of the system to be put in place and tested before handover, and so often fell victim to project delays and last minute modifications. Cost overruns were frequently caused by this unpredictable phase of the project. By taking controls testing off the critical path, Emulate3D Controls Testing allows comprehensive testing to be carried out more safely and at lower cost, earlier in the project, resulting in thoroughly tested control systems.”

Approximately 160 Queen’s Awards have been announced this year for outstanding business achievement in the fields of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.
