Established in 2008, Multimodal, the UK and Ireland’s leading freight transport and logistics exhibition, will celebrate its seventh year in 2014. Multimodal has become the annual one-stop-shop for shippers who wish to find ways of optimising their supply chain and transportation flows.

Multimodal-stripExhibitors at Multimodal 2014 represent the crème de la crème of the transport and logistics industry. Participating sectors cover the complete spectrum of the market and whatever your needs or requirements, rest assured that they can be fulfilled at Multimodal 2014.

Multimodal provides a one-stop-shop where you can find all your freight solutions under one roof, plus you can take advantage of the free to attend seminars and hear first-hand the experiences of your peers, including the Co-operative, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Collect+, ByBox and Unipart.

The seminars are brought to you by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and the Freight Transport Association, with something to help everyone run a slicker supply chain.

This year too we are also launching an Air Freight Seminar Stream in association with The Loadstar, tackling key trends and issues in the industry and focusing on a new FTA report into UK air freight shippers’ needs.

Dedicated pavilions on the exhibit floor will put you directly in touch with companies offering bespoke solutions to your needs, from Air Cargo, FSDF: focusing on food and drink logistics, Logistics Leaders Network, to the largest yet, UKWA Pavilion.

Multimodal 2014 will also play host to industry meetings including the Rail Freight Group, Leaders in Supply Chain, CILT and Women in Logistics.

Another first this year will be the ELUPEG meeting at Multimodal and all attendees are invited. The theme is Collaboration in Multimodal Transport a Win Win Solution and will feature speakers from the Stobart Group and Ford with case studies from Boots and Premier Foods.  ELUPEG is the only European organisation whose sole focus is the fostering of logistics collaboration.

All visitors are also invited to the annual Multimodal Hog Roast which takes place in 2014 on the 30th April at the NEC, where they can relax and enjoy a social networking evening.

In 2014, Multimodal will be co-located at the NEC at the same time as the Commercial Vehicle exhibition. The exhibitions will be organised independently of each other on different sides of the NEC. Visitors to one exhibition are welcome to visit the other.

Warehouse & Logistics News are once again a media partner with Multimodal 2014, please visit us on stand 214, we look forward to seeing you.
