SSI Schaefer, the UK and world’s leading provider of automated materials handling and integrated storage solutions, will be exhibiting at the MACH 2014 exhibition in Birmingham between 7th and 11th April. It will be the first time that SSI Schaefer has exhibited at a MACH event and its LogiMat storage and order picking system will be the central focus of their stand.
The LogiMat is an efficient, goods-to-man picking, space-saving alternative for storing and order picking a broad range of items in a compact and ergonomic way. It occupies only a small footprint providing 90% storage space saving when compared to conventional static solutions. Its design is similar to an oversized drawer cabinet with two stacks of trays (one in the front and one in the rear) and between those stacks a lift operates which extracts individual trays as required. Visitors will be able to get a close-up view of how the LogiMat operates on the SSI Schaefer stand.
