CHEP, the world’s leading provider of pallet and container pooling solutions, has announced that Colgate-Palmolive Company has signed a new business contract for the use of pallet pooling services in Romania, replacing white exchange pallets. The move is expected to result in a significant cost reduction and environmental savings.
Colgate-Palmolive Romania SRL Warehouse and Transportation Manager, Dan Dascalu, said: “We made the decision to move to CHEP in order to simplify our lives and reduce cost by putting the management of pallets in their hands. For us, the white pallet exchange system is difficult to manage and involves many hidden costs, such as the purchase of new equipment to replace losses. We are confident that CHEP offers a more efficient and cost-effective solution”.
