New multi-purpose sliding doors compliment the fire and smoke tight sliding doors already available from Hörmann. Sharing the same precision engineering means these doors offer real value for money and long term reliability.
Single leaf, double leaf and telescopic variants can meet a wide range of applications with a size range from 1 to 12 metres wide and from 2 to 9 metres high. All these doors meet the European, EN12605, class C5 standard which means they have completed at least 200,000 door cycles in testing to prove their reliability.
A patented track design makes sure these doors operate smoothly, easily and quietly adding to their longevity. The high quality appearance of these doors benefits from another patented design for the groove and spring connection between the individual door elements creating a highly stable door with no visible screws.
Adding to the flexibility of this door style, one or two pedestrian-access wicket doors, without threshold strips, can be incorporated into the sliding door leaf. These can also be specified with the smoke-tight variant, clearly demonstrating the quality of the fit and finish.
Smooth sheet steel and stainless steel options have now been joined by a unique Pearlgrain finish specifically developed to add damage resistance for high traffic industrial applications. Seven preferred colours can be selected or, at extra cost, any RAL colour can be specified.
Glazed panels can be included in both the door leaf and wicket doors to improve appearance, visibility and natural lighting. Grip or new stainless steel recessed handles are options with these doors, along with automatic door opening with press-and-hold button operation. Concealed monitoring of the door and wicket door can also be included for improved security.
