Nic Dancey, General Manager, explains: “This latest investment in new production equipment represents an important part of our £multi-million global investment programme and will enable us to react quickly and more flexibly from our European base, especially for bulk orders of customised products.

“In this, our 140th anniversary year, we are especially delighted to respond to the ever increasing demand for all our products and tailor our output to meet specific business needs. Business success today relies very heavily on being fleet of foot and we have to be able to anticipate both product and timing needs of our customers to help them maintain a competitive advantage.

“We believe we now have the lowest cost supply chain from our main production facilities in Asia and the Americas, enabling us to offer the most appropriate and competitive solutions. Our latest UK investment balances this broader capability with fast local shipments to meet immediate needs and represents an important step in our wider programme to improve service levels across the complete European region. We will now be moulding and marking key plastic products in the UK – the PolyCheck, SecureTite and SecureGrip – in addition to stocking and marking cable and bolt seals, reducing the supply chain and enabling us to make even faster shipments to our customers.”
