SEMA Distributor Group announces Supplier of the Year Awards 2013

Moresecure has scooped a double accolade in the SEMA Distributor Group’s (SDG) Supplier of the Year Awards 2013.

The company carried off first place in both ‘Supplier of the Year’ and ‘Most Improved Supplier’ categories. Storax took second place and Redirack came third as the SEMA Distributor Group’s chosen suppliers.

Congratulating the winners, outgoing SDG chairman Simon King said: ‘All three winners for 2013 have worked hard to warrant their place in our industry’s ‘Oscars’. Improving standards of manufacturer supply has been one of two major objectives during my time in office.

‘Our next key task is to establish clear blue water in the minds of end users between SDG members and other distributors. Each SDG member is to be rigorously audited by an external company against 26 measureable checkpoints as part of a bespoke quality assurance scheme. The QA programme will be well underway by January 2014 so specifiers will soon be able to benchmark the quality of an SDG member’s products and services against that of non-SDG member.’
