Working hard to raise awareness and prevent hearing loss in the workplace, Arco the UK’s leading supplier of safety equipment and workwear, is proud to offer its support to Sound Seekers through a donation of £8597.48 raised through the sales of its Arco branded hearing protection range.
The partnership with Sound Seekers was set up in September 2009 to give Arco customers purchasing hearing protection from the Arco branded range the opportunity to support those with hearing difficulties in some of the poorest countries in the developing world. With the money raised through the sales of the Arco branded hearing protection products, Sound Seekers are able to provide the specialist equipment, training and support needed to assist those dealing with hearing loss or impairment. Its principal aim is to reduce the dependency in developing countries, especially Africa, by giving equipment and transferring skills to local medical staff so that they can treat patients themselves.
