GORE-TEX® Fabric is known worldwide for durable weather protection that keeps you dry and comfortable from head to toe and from September 2013, Arco will be using its trademark licensee status to manufacture a brand new range of own brand hazardwear, weatherwear and footwear products using the renowned GORE-TEX® Fabric.  Unique to Gore and its accredited suppliers, other garments in the new range will be manufactured with GORE-TEX® Heat & Flame Garments with GORE® Pyrad® Fabric Technology which offers a combination of thermal and flashover burn protection. Flame retardant, waterproof, windproof and breathable; the new garments will offer wearers total protection.

Thomas Martin and Neil Jowsey, Arco’s Joint Managing Directors said: “We are delighted to announce this strategic partnership with Gore giving us access to the revolutionary GORE-TEX® Fabric, designed to provide superior performance in a wide range of applications. Gore’s reputation has been built on the undoubted quality of its products and, like Arco, is a company focused on discovery and product innovation. We will use this partnership to develop state of the art products that will provide protection for those working in critical environments across all industries.

The synergy between our two businesses has been a key driver in securing this partnership. Both companies have a reputation as experts in their fields, with an underlying respect for people and a common vision in the way to conduct business. We look forward to an exciting future together.”
