Established in May 2003, Hertfordshire-based racking wholesaler Storax Racking Supplies recently celebrated 10 years of successful trading, supplying Ramada-Storax SP80 and SP115 pallet racking systems and IM50 shelving to trade dealers across the UK, northern Europe, Scandinavia and southern Ireland. The whole Storax team marked this notable milestone by taking a long weekend trip to northern Portugal. They lunched with their colleagues from the Ramada factory – where SP80 racking has been manufactured for more than 50 years – and enjoyed the sights of Porto old city and the historic port cellar area while enjoying some welcome Portuguese sunshine.
Having grown the business year on year since 2003, and successfully weathered the storm of the economic down-turn in 2009, Storax Racking Supplies is now firmly established as a mainstream provider of Ramada racking, shelving, longspan and construction products, all of which have a long and enviable pedigree. With huge stocks of product in their UK warehouse, and consignment stock available to call off as needed from the Ramada factory, Storax Racking Supplies are able to offer an outstanding delivery service.
The Ramada-Storax factory has also developed a range of innovative dynamic solutions in recent years, including their 2-store and Ranger products, the cutting-edge answers to high-density storage requirements. The Storax Racking Supplies technical team has been fully-trained in these products and can devise a solution for any suitable application.
The 10th Anniversary came hard on the heels of receiving the “Supplier of the Year award 2012” at the end of last year from the SEMA Distributor Group (SDG). Storax was honoured to receive the accolade, because the votes were cast anonymously by SDG members, based on their experience of how they rate their various UK trade suppliers. SEMA Distributor Group members are committed to supplying quality equipment, products and services in line with SEMA Codes of Practice, procedures and brand. To achieve these objectives, high service-levels from their suppliers are paramount, with quotation support, ease of placing orders and on-time, accurate deliveries being the most important factors in their deliberations. Storax Supplies were delighted to be considered to be the best against these criteria!
