Established in 2004, Aqualuma is a privately owned company based on Australia’s Gold Coast. Recently introduced to the European market Lightsource-R is a range of industrial high and low bay products designed to replace conventional lighting, including metal halide and T5 fluorescent. Available in a wide range of options with optics, lenses and power outputs of 60w to 185w and output flux outputs up to 22,500 lumens, allowing a customised design according to the specific requirements of each installation in order to minimize power requirements and maximise electrical savings. Large distribution centres, shopping malls, warehouses and factories are already fitted with Aqualuma Lightsource-R products in Australia, New Zealand and North America with spectacular results.
With a wall plug efficacy up to 125 lumens per watt the Aqualuma Lightsource-R has been independently tested and found to be the most energy efficient high bay light fitting in the world. The standard LED colour temperature is 5700K, a colour rendering Index up to 85, certified to have no flicker detectable by the human eye, manufactured from LM6 powder coated aluminium, with an IP66 rating these light fittings are suitable for internal and external applications in the most hazourdous of conditions.
Aqualuma offers a free lighting upgrade design service to ensure that the conversion to energy efficient lighting maintains or improves current lighting levels whilst delivering up to 80% power savings with a lifetime exceeding 100,000 hours.
