Lymm based factory and logistics automation company Conveyor Networks have acquired control systems company Capley Marker Systems Ltd. The acquisition will allow Conveyor Networks to build on their continued success in the software and control solutions arena and enable them to offer an even more specialised service to clients.
The acquisition comes at a time of expansion for Conveyor Networks with the recruitment of Mark Streeter as Projects Manager. Mark, 37, from Sale, previously worked for Procter & Gamble for over 20 years. His background is in materials handling, electrical engineering and automation and he is a qualified Projects Manager. His new role will see him responsible for leading key client projects.

Conveyor Networks, based in Lymm, was formed in November 2009. The company is run by Managing Director David Carroll, previously Head of UK Sales for international manufacturer Transnorm and Operations Director Geoff Wooding, previously of Lifetime Controls. Conveyor Networks provide fully integrated factory and logistics automation solutions for clients with a view to making them more efficient. Their services include the design and installation of integrated, intelligent automated conveyor systems, provision of spare parts and ongoing service contracts. They are the sole UK distributor agent for Transnorm’s “System range of products.” Clients include WHSmith, Unilever and Play.com.
