After supporting the CILT for a number of years Toyota Material Handling UK sponsored the Young Manager of the Year 2012 award delivering a highly accomplished winner and two highly commendable finalists.

The CILT Awards which took place at London Marriot Hotel Grosvenor Square on 18 October 2012 celebrated the professional excellence and development of the association’s members from within the UK.

Toyota sponsored and attended the awards showing their commitment to promoting best practice in partnership with a highly respected governing body.

The Young Manager of the Year category was judged by a panel of industry leaders before the winner was announced as Jenna Curbishley from Wincanton. Fellow finalists Marc Birt from DHL and Amanda Kunzli from Tube Lines made it a closely fought final.

Tony added: “We would like to offer our congratulations to both Jenna and the other finalists Marc and Amanda. Jenna was a very worthy winner of the Young Manager of the Year award. She has worked extremely hard and although only at the beginning of her career has achieved a great deal, becoming a top health and safety performer and delivering both cost savings and new revenue streams for her company.
