Kardex Stow, the international storage and racking specialist, exhibited for the first time at the Totally Logistics (North) exhibition, held recently at Doncaster Racecourse.
The company used the exhibition to showcase its extensive range of racking products, with particular emphasis on its innovative mobile racking solutions.
The exhibition was something of a homecoming for new Head of Sales (mobile racking division) Gary Firth, who hails from Doncaster. Gary was joined by colleagues Neil Hughes and Andrew Fisher.
Doncaster is known as a transport hub, with excellent links to three main motorway networks. There are a number of large warehouses and distribution centres located in the area and despite a relatively low visitor attendance, Kardex Stow gained a number of promising enquiries both on their general and mobile racking products.
Commenting on the show, Gary Firth said: “Despite Kardex Stow being a major international player in the racking industry, we have kept a low profile in the UK. Our new marketing programme includes a combination of advertising, PR and exhibitions and we are already beginning to see the benefits in the awareness of the company and level of sales leads.”
