Having outgrown its current premises, energy efficient lighting specialist Lutterworth Ecolighting has relocated its head office to Hinckley in Leicestershire.

Established in 1971, the privately run business has enjoyed steady growth over recent years by designing, manufacturing and installing energy efficient lighting solutions in warehousing and industrial operations throughout the country.

The 6,500 sq ft site at Dodwells Bridge Industrial Estate consists of offices and a storage and distribution area for products and equipment. The offices will accommodate management, marketing and clerical staff including two new members to the management team.

These are national sales manager Clive Fromant from Leicestershire and contracts manager, John Harrison from Rugby. Both Clive and John join the company with over 20 years of experience in the industry.

As contracts manager John will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of lighting installations across the country. Clive will work closely with new and existing customers to meet their energy saving requirements and secure additional business.

To manage demand, the installation team has also been expanded with the addition of trainee electrician Aaron Pick and apprentice Josh Brown, both from Leicestershire.

Lutterworth Ecolighting’s managing director, Martin Needham said: “This is an exciting time in the company’s 40-year history. The increased demand for energy efficient lighting and our ability to provide our customers with a full turnkey service has fuelled growth for the business.

“The growth has prompted an investment in larger premises as well as a surge in recruitment. I’m delighted to welcome the new members to our team and look forward to working with them as we continue to drive the business forward.”

Lutterworth Ecolighting designs, manufactures and installs energy-efficient lighting solutions in warehousing and industrial operations throughout the UK.
