Independent distribution company ADD Express, a leading member of the UK’s top pallet network Pall-Ex has purchased the Access Delta warehouse performance system to support its new 3PL (third party logistics) warehousing and distribution business.
ADD Express’ 3PL operation will be run from a dedicated 30,000 square foot state of the art, flexible bay, narrow aisle warehouse in Elland, West Yorkshire – with distribution handled through the Pall-Ex network. The company’s first 3PL client is a major player in the agricultural sector. ADD Express is now also considering a move into major retail chain logistics that would use Pall-Ex’s ‘Retail Plus+’ optimised supply chain service; and is expanding its existing fleet of vehicles with the addition of eight new trailers.
