On Tuesday 24th April RTITB made their triumphant return to the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC, Birmingham.

Returning to the show for the first time since 2006, RTITB were in attendance to promote the Master Driver CPC Consortium and the driver benefits associated with obtaining training through consortium members. The RTITB stand was buzzing with visitors- both drivers and employers, who, with the September 2014 deadline for LGV fast approaching, were eager to learn more about the Master Driver CPC Consortium and the associated benefits. Brave visitors were also provided with a fantastic caricature of themselves, thanks to artist Edd Travers, who appeared at the stand during the event.

RTITB also utilised the event to promote two new courses; Road Traffic Incident Management and Emergency First Aid, which is available to consortium members now, and 10 new PCV modules, which has been available from the end of May.

A complete solution to Driver CPC Periodic Training, the consortium provides drivers with comprehensive, industry developed courses and training materials that can be tailor made to cater for their unique needs. Along with learning the benefits associated with training through the consortium, visitors were gifted with the Master Driver CPC Members Directory, a free, detailed booklet of all current consortium members who deliver Master Driver CPC training throughout the UK.

As one of the largest road transport and logistics events in the UK industry’s calendar, the CV Show caters for the needs of both operators and their employer. From electronic solutions to fleet management, training, commercial vehicles and everything in between; the show plays host to some of the biggest and best names in the industry today.

Welcoming over 400 exhibitors over three halls, this year’s event has been a resounding success, with an estimated 16,000 visitors recorded in attendance. For over 10 years the CV Show has remained one of the most popular events for exhibitors and visitors alike and following this year’s success, the event is already expected to be bigger and better in April 2013.

All at RTITB were amazed at the turnout of the show and are eager to see what 2013 has in store! For more information on RTITB events, visit www.rtitb.co.uk/events.
