As part of its long term growth strategy, Citizen Systems Europe, a leading manufacturer of high quality label, barcode, POS and portable printers, has re-structured its management team with a change of roles for two of its key senior managers. Jörk Schüßler has been appointed to the position of Marketing Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, while Mark Beauchamp now becomes IT & Technology Manager and will be responsible for all new product development.
Educated in Germany, Jörk Schüßler brings over 20 years of experience within a sales environment including sales and marketing in hardware, software, E-learning and TV. His record spans a number of senior management roles and he is ideally placed to take on his new position of European Marketing Manager. Jörk’s previous experience includes work with Citizen Systems Europe GmbH for nearly ten years, European Sales Manager at both Medlive TV GmbH and Luratech GmbH, as well as various other technology related roles.
Mark Beauchamp’s new role as Technical Division Manager utilises his wealth of technical experience and will see him work on new product development, including POS and photo printers as well as manage the technical support and IT departments within Citizen. In addition to working with Citizen’s clients across the region, Mark has regularly visited the company’s head offices in Japan as a leading driver in product development. With in-depth knowledge and having more than 20 years’ experience at Citizen, he is adept at helping resellers and end users alike to understand the latest printing technology. Mark has also undertaken the role of Chairman of AIM UK, the British chapter of the Auto-ID manufacturers’ association.
The new roles will help Citizen develop still further its support infrastructure for its range of distributors, value-added resellers and end users in many different sectors, and are part of a wider long term strategy designed to help the company build a powerful market position in Europe.
