Established in 1983, Keltruck Limited is the largest independent Scania dealer in the UK.
What’s the most exciting thing about your job?
The challenge and the people you meet and at the end of the month, seeing the impact you have made.
Who inspired you most in your career?
There are two people Steve Hughes the Keltruck group after sales manager and Chris Kelly the owner of Keltrucks.
I have learned so much about the parts business from Steve Hughes. He knows everything. I admire Chris Kelly for his drive and love for the transport business.
If you were an item in a warehouse, what would you be?
I would like to be a mirror so I can see everthing.
What brought you to this industry?
Luck really. I started 25 years ago on a YTS training scheme and stayed here ever since.
If you had to do it all over again, what would you do different?
Nothing, it’s been great – just the odd bad decision.
What’s your favourite pastime?
Playing with my 2 year old son Jakob. He is great.
What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?
I can’t say, really I can’t!
Do you have any hidden talents?
I love playing my PS3 and mountin bike riding.
Who would be your favourite party guest?
Jim Morrison (Lead singer from the Doors.)
What is the greatest luxury in your life?
Jakob, my son.
If you won the Lottery, what would you do?
Move house and buy a new car or two.
Who or what makes you laugh?
Lots of things. Life, politics and I love to people watch.
Do you have any secret ambitions?
To play football well and get promoted at Keltruck.
What’s your favourite holiday destination?
Cornwall and Mexico.

The Stone Roses.
What’s you favourite movies?
Goodfellas and Top Gun.
What’s your favourite book?
The Da Vinci Code.
Who or what do you detest the most?
Nothing, lifes to short.
What would be your advice to someone thinking about coming into the industry (apart from “don’t do it”)?
Choose a main agent and what ever you are asked to do, do the best you can.
