Earlier this year Pewisys Material Handling became Newland Engineering’s official Distributor in the Netherlands.
Mr Peter Wisse, owner of Pewisys Material Handling has over 35 years experience within the materials handling industry, having worked for Interroll in Holland during the 1980’s. Peter’s knowledge of Newland as a leading manufacturer of Telescopic Belt Conveyors with a reputation for excellent build quality also dates back many years.
Newland were impressed when Peter quickly gained an order from an International Logistics Company for the hire of a Newland model MTC3X fitted on a fully mobile powered chassis. Peter’s customer was so pleased with the performance and versatility of the conveyor, that they have now placed an order for a new machine to the same specification.
Lynn Kerfoot, Director of Newland Engineering and Michael Kyrycz, UK & Export Sales Manager, were delighted to welcome Peter and his Service Engineer, Aniel Sagoeni to Newland’s premises in Hyde, Cheshire, to view their production facility and for Aniel to receive training in the basic maintenance and service of their Multi-Telescopic conveyors.
Trading is difficult in the current economic climate, but as this story proves, there is still a market for quality engineered products, capable of bringing enormous benefits to companies in terms of significant cost savings, improved efficiencies, a reduction in manual handling and improved operator health & safety in the loading and unloading of goods.
