BITA, the British Industrial Truck Association, held its 2009 Golf Day at Moor Hall Golf Club on 15 September 2008. James Clark, BITA Secretary General, comments: “A total of 67 players set off in the morning in dry weather with sunny intervals and a brisk, steady wind. The Moor Hall 18-hole golf course was in excellent condition, which added to the general atmosphere of camaraderie and friendly competition. The 71 members and friends who attended the evening dinner and prize-giving, presented by BITA and club captain Cannon Frank Longbottom, celebrated the many triumphs and humorous moments of the day. We look forward to returning to the beautiful Moor Hall Club venue for another memorable day out on 14 September 2010.”
BITA would like to thank both Club staff, for working hard to ensure all guests had the best possible day, and our generous sponsors Continental Tyre Group, Powercell Industrial Batteries, Warehouse & Logistics News (who also provided refreshments on the course), Razor Public Relations and Watts Industrial Tyres.
