bigftatlanticparkexternalshedOne of Merseyside’s largest industrial sheds has been placed on the market by owners Royal London Asset Management (RLAM).

RLAM owns the Atlantic Park site in North Liverpool and is now marketing the 221,000 sq ft industrial shed as ‘Big FT2’.

Big FT2 boasts impressive eave heights of 13-18m, substantial floor loading, craneage facilities and high power supply. It was formerly the home of Rolls Royce’s turbine factory.

Jonathan Atherton, industrial agent at GVA Grimley said: “Big FT2 offers a specification which will suit manufacturing, engineering and distribution companies alike. It has excellent links to the M57 motorway and the Port of Liverpool and will be available on competitive leases.

“It’s quite unusual to find all these qualities in one site and with additional land available for expansion it offers a whole host of options for occupiers. We’re already receiving interest from tenants from across the North West.”

This news follows the relocation of Rolls Royce and the recent letting to Sulzer Pumps of 90,000 sq ft of industrial space at the end of 2008.
