winners-groupInnovative products… Superb new services… A commitment to raising industry standards… Could this be you? These are just a few of the tell-tale signs of an Archie winner, so enter your product or service today! That’s the advice from the Fork Lift Truck Association.

Calling for entries for the FLTA Awards for Excellence 2010, chief executive David Ellison says:”The Awards provides the perfect opportunity to draw the attention of fork lift truck users to the pick of the year’s best products in terms of ergonomics, the environment, safety and innovation.”

“Now, more than ever before, it’s vital to encourage and reward those who continue aiming high and moving the industry forward, regardless of the financial climate. And that recognition doesn’t simply apply to the larger manufacturers who traditionally have bigger budgets to invest in the research and development of new products.

“Companies of literally every size have come up with great new ideas that have proved worthy of an Archie – the materials handling industry’s highest accolade. There are also several other Awards for which you might like to enter your company or your colleagues – including the important Safe Site Award.”

Entering your product or service takes just minutes. “Materials handling professionals already have too many forms to complete,” explains David. “That’s why the process is so quick and easy.” Application forms are available on the FLTA website: www.fork-truck.org.uk.

“Having your application accepted by the FLTA Nominations Committee is a high honour in itself.  When those working within the materials handling industry look through the shortlist of contenders, they will be left in no doubt that they are being guided to the industry’s best new products and services.”

To be eligible, your new product or service must have been launched within the period 1st October 2008 to 30th September 2009. By ‘launched’, the FLTA means the product or service must have been available for purchase, or the product must have been fitted to equipment that is available for purchase.

You have until 30th September 2009 to make your nominations.

Anyone involved in the supply and use of materials handling equipment, or ancillary products and services, is entitled to vote for Awards 2010.
