next-team-building-eventSenior staff at the controls and energy management company Next Control Systems have enjoyed a unique and challenging team building day at the Royal National Lifeboat Institute’s college in Poole, Dorset.

The sea survival experience stresses the importance of team work, with visitors donning standard issue RNLI crew kit before entering a survival pool where they learn the skills and techniques on which RNLI crew members rely.

It provides a hands on taster of the training undergone by RNLI volunteers, with detailed briefings leading to survival training, poolside drills and activity in the water.

The half day event was the brainchild of managing director Tim Bartholomew (grey hair, nearly top left) “It was an unforgettable experience and we had a wonderful time,” he said.

“The professionalism shown by the RNLI team was fantastic.” he added.
