Doors to the ShD South West materials handling exhibition at ProLogis Cabot Park in Bristol will open on Wednesday 17 June.
The one-day event, staged by IMHX organiser Quartz in association with the leading industrial developer ProLogis, is a must for logistics professionals.
Launched last year under the umbrella of Quartz’s market-leading industry title ShD: Storage, Handling, Distribution, the show is one of a series of regional exhibitions, of which the other remaining event is ShD South, to be staged at ProLogis Park Heathrow on 16 September.
“We wanted to stage regional exhibitions in areas where we knew there would be significant numbers of industry buyers and specifiers,” explains Rob Fisher, Publishing and Exhibitions Director for Quartz. “Both the Southwest and Greater London regions feature a diverse and active economy that we know our exhibitors can tap into.”
A visit to either ShD South West or ShD South will certainly be worthwhile. Exhibitors will be showcasing innovative ideas to help reduce costs and maximise supply chain efficiency. A wide range of handling and storage products and services will be exhibited, from conveyors and forklift trucks to IT solutions and third party logistics. “The exhibitions will also include a demonstration zone and seminar area,” adds Rob Fisher, “further enhancing the visitor appeal.”
Both venues enjoy enviable locations, close to motorways. ProLogis Cabot Park is situated just 10 miles from the M4/M5 interchange and close to Avonmouth and Royal Portbury Docks. ProLogis Park Heathrow is less than 2 miles from Heathrow Airport and close to the M4 and M25.
