An electric-powered Flexi EURO articulated forklift truck has been specified to save space in the parts store of a leading UK-based Formula One motor racing team. The Flexi EURO, which has been fitted with non-marking tyres and finished brilliant white to tie in with the facility’s clean-room environment conditions, is employed to handle the expensive component parts for the multi-million pound cars, as well as other high-tech diagnostic equipment and tooling plus a host of other ancillaries that supports the Formula One team as it travels the glamorous global Grand Prix circuit.
Launched earlier this year, the Flexi EURO features all the design characteristics that have made the Flexi the biggest selling range of articulated trucks in Europe. Thanks to its compact chassis and narrow front axle it is capable of working in aisles as narrow as 1642mm wide (with a Euro pallet) or 1762mm wide (with an ISO pallet).
This compact four wheel articulated forklift truck has the ability to lift 1800kg loads to heights of over 7 metres making it suitable for facilities where space is at a premium. Importantly, the fact that the truck had a stable four-wheel configuration means that floor loading and safe handling were not compromised.

The client needed a truck capable of operating safely and efficiently at all times because of the very expensive almost space-age components that it has to handle.
